Looking to Rent Room from Family/Older Couple/Others

I am looking to rent a room for 1 - 1.5 months starting Sept. 1 preferably in the Kiryat Moshe, Beit HaKerem,  Rehavia, Ramat Eshkol, or French Hill areas.  I am 43 yo and considering Aliyah.  I would like to stay with a family/older couple/others that are originally from North America and have gone through or are considering Aliyah.  If the situation works out fine, I'd be interested in a longer-term situation.
